A Copps Food Centers store here celebrated June Dairy Month with Bucky the Badger, the official mascot of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, carved from more than a thousand pounds of Wisconsin cheddar. MADISON, Wis. — A Copps Food Centers store here celebrated June Dairy Month with Bucky the Badger, the official mascot of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, carved from more than a thousand pounds of Wisconsin cheddar. Cheese sculptor Sarah Kaufmann, aka The Cheese Lady, representing the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, spent 39 hours on-site creating Bucky for Copps, one of 155 stores owned by Roundy's, Milwaukee.
