NORTHLAKE, Ill. -- The meat department at Dominick's Finer Foods here pulled its winter meat cuts together for a promotion playing off the "12 Roasts of Christmas."

A young broth-basted turkey was also featured at 59 cents a pound with a $10.00 purchase, along with six other varieties of Butterball, Jennie-O and Perdue turkeys ranging in price from 99 cents to $1.19 per pound, and averaging between 10 and 22 pounds.

Dominick's did not respond to requests for information about the ad and its effect on sales.
