NPFDA Gives Eric Joiner Lifetime Achievement Award
Eric Joiner, vice chairman of AJC International, an Atlanta-based global frozen and refrigerated foods marketer, was named recipient of the 2010 National Poultry & Food Distributors Association’s Poultry Industry Lifetime Achievement award.

GAINSVILLE, Ga. — Eric Joiner, vice chairman of AJC International, an Atlanta-based global frozen and refrigerated foods marketer, was named recipient of the 2010 National Poultry & Food Distributors Association’s Poultry Industry Lifetime Achievement award.
The NPFDA, based here, has given the the 19-year-old award to poultry industry leaders who have played a major role in the growth of the poultry industry.
Joiner co-founded AJC International in 1972. As president and chief operating officer for almost 20 years, Joiner led the company in its rapid expansion into China, South America and Russia. Now, in addition to being vice chairman, Joiner is also president of AJC International affiliate, Amerifoods, Chattanooga, Tenn.
Joiner has served as chairman and member of the board of directors of the United States Poultry and Egg Export Council, and as a member of the board of directors of the National Chicken Council and Frosty Acres Brands.
