ATLANTA — United Egg Producers here was recently honored by the state of Georgia when Gov. Sonny Perdue presented it with an official Georgia Commendation. Perdue praised UEP members for the safe, ethical and humane treatment of the animals in their care, their concern for the hungry and the development of the UEP Certified program.
