It was a big week for German discount grocer Aldi, which opened four stores in four different states.

The grocer launched three on Thursday at the following locations:

  • 737 South Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg, Md.

  • 4344 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse, Wisc.

  • 1270 N. Telegraph Road, Monroe, Mich.

A fourth store was reopened on Friday at 4419 McMasters Ave., in Hannibal, Mo., after the location was renovated.

The discount chain has been launching locations rapidly with the goal of opening 800 new stores by the end of 2028, Aldi announced in March. The company said it is investing $9 billion over the next five years to reach its goal.
