Mothers Market and Kitchen Expands Store

Mother’s Market and Kitchen, a natural and organic foods retailer with seven Orange County, Calif. stores, is expanding and renovating its Laguna Woods store located at 24165 Paseo De Valencia to accommodate increased traffic, customer demand and company growth.

As part of the store expansion, Mother’s will be adding about 5,000 square feet to its current 10,000 with plans for completion in October 2015. “Our Laguna Woods store, which has become a corner stone of the community, continues to experience increased traffic,” says Alejandro Martinez, store manager for Mother’s Market Laguna Woods.  “By expanding and renovating the store, we’ll be able to offer a greater depth of product selection, wider aisles and more features – all of which will contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience.” With the store expansion, Mother’s Market plans to add more employees in a few areas, including food service where it will expand its popular “grab & go” deli foods, hot food bar and salad bar.
