GoCubes logo in a gray background | GoCubesFrom its Fresh ‘n Clear line, Placon, a North American plastic packaging designer and manufacturer, has launched its newest line of stock food packaging containers designed to give maximum versatility and more merchandising options. The GoCubes disposable plastic food packaging line features five base sizes with a three compartment universal insert tray that lets convenience stores to supermarket delis highlight specific ingredients while keeping food looking better and tasting fresher, longer, say officials for the company. From fruit to nuts, Fresh ‘n Clear GoCubes containers modern and non-standard “square” shape offers versatility with an insert tray that lets the customer mix and match foods for a variety of pre-packed meal options for the grab-and-go market, officials add. For health-conscious consumers, portion-sized inserts offer convenience while letting customers mix contents to their liking. Available in five stacking sizes from 12-36-ounces, the film sealable container is designed with a one-size-fits-all, clear recycled PET lid option with anti-fog technology. GoCubes containers were launched along with Placon’s Selectables customizable stock food packaging line that includeds thermoformed bowls, lids and up to three compartment inserts which highlight and separate pre-packed meals’ ingredients.
