Trader Joe’s to add 24 stores nationwide

Eight stores are scheduled to open this year in Southern California

Trader Joe's expects to open two dozen stores nationwide this year, including eight new stores in Southern California, reports Los Angeles ABC affiliate KABC.

A Trader Joe's spokesperson confirmed the national number to Supermarket News.

Four of the new California stores will be in Los Angeles County, with the others popping up in Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties.

The locations will be in South Pasadena, Northridge, Sherman Oaks, Santa Clarita, Ladera Ranch, Murrieta, and Poway.

Trader Joe’s operates 591 stores in the U.S. as of May 28 according to ScrapeHero.
