The retailer stopped short of saying it will order new inventory of Cooking with Paula Deen.

“We will continue to carefully monitor and evaluate the situation with respect to Paula Deen publications in our stores,” Food Lion wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday.

The announcement comes after several companies have cut ties with the celebrity cook after she admitted past-use of a racial slur.

Among other deal cancellations, the Food Network said it would not renew her contract.

Food Lion’s Facebook post received more than 600 comments, most of which were in support of Deen.

“Glad you are not jumping on the bash-Paula bandwagon,” one person wrote.

“I shop Food Lion 99% of the time — stop selling her magazines/products, and I can always go elsewhere. Don't let her go,” wrote another.
