ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The International Housewares Association said Friday that buyer registration for the 2007 International Home & Housewares Show is on a record pace. IHA expects more than 22,000 buyers to be on hand, based on continued growth among U.S. independent retailers and international buyers. This attendance would exceed the record 21,368 who registered for the event in 2006. “We are pleased that the global retail community has recognized the [Housewares] show as their key annual marketplace for homegoods,” said Phil Brandl, president of IHA, the show‘s sponsor. The Housewares Show will be held March 11-13 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
