Fort Collins, Colo.-based Joy Organics announced that its CBD gummies will now contain organic ingredients.

Joy Organics is a family-brand founded by Joy Smith in 2018, who experienced the healing effects of CBD herself. The company, which sells a variety of ingestible and topical CBD products—gummies, tinctures, soft gels and lotions—said it is working on a variety of innovations and improvements, to be announced by the end of this year’s first quarter. According to the company's website, the Colorado-based brand has fulfilled over 130,000 orders for customers across the United States.

Joy Organics CBD gummies are vegan and the “strawberry lemonade and green apple gummies are some of our most popular products,” said Hannah Smith, Joy Organics director of communications, in a statement. “And we’re so excited to upgrade this vegan, delicious, guilt-free formula.”

“We’re always looking to craft the most effective and cleanest products we can,” said Smith. “Our new organic gummy formula is one of a series of product innovations we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks.”

Looking to bolster educational resources for its community of small business owners across the country, the family-founded hemp brand in December 2021 launched a training program for retail partners in 2022.

"Our training programs are always evolving with the industry—to best equip our partners to come out and on top," said Jill Holly, Joy Organics VP of sales. "In 2018, that meant providing the best CBD education for skeptical consumers. In the beginning of the pandemic, that meant supporting storefronts by exploring innovative strategies to stay in business despite social distancing mandates and shutdowns. No matter what industry changes lie ahead, we'll continue to empower and inform our partners."
