CINCINNATI -- The Procter & Gamble Co. is featuring six brands in a new consumer promotion starting this month. Throughout the 2007 stock car racing season, the brands included in the P&G brandSAVER500 sweepstakes will give consumers the chance to win hundreds of racing-themed prizes, including VIP race weekend packages. This sweepstakes marks the first multi-brand, season-long stock car racing initiative for P&G and will incorporate Bounty, Gillette, Old Spice, Prilosec, Pringles and ThermaCare. A dedicated website, www.pgbrandsaver500.com, will give fans the opportunity to ask questions of Liz Allison, who spent 17 years learning the ins and outs of racing as the wife of star driver Davey Allison, and has written several books including "The Girls Guide to NASCAR." The first promotion in the brandSAVERS500 gives 10 consumers the chance to win a VIP Race Weekend Package that will include a trip for two to the stock car race of their choice and the opportunity to meet select P&G drivers. In addition, there will be over 300 racing-themed prizes awarded to consumers.
