Price Chopper's New York state pharmacies are offering Department of Motor Vehicles vision tests.

For $9.99, shoppers can get an eye exam necessary for a New York State driver’s licenses.

The results are uploaded electronically to the DMV, “which makes the process quick & convenient for you,” Price Chopper wrote in a Facebook post.

While one of Price Chopper’s Facebook “friends” noted that vision tests are provided by the DMV for free as part of the license application process, another said she would be willing to pay the fee to avoid waiting in line at the DMV.
