MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Schnuck Markets, based in St. Louis, said last week that it will expand its Schnucks Express fuel center lineup by acquiring two existing Memphis-area convenience stores formerly operated as Fill ’n Stations, based out of Cordova, Tenn. Schnucks Mid-South division manager John O’Donnell said this is a strategic expansion for the company. “The Schnucks Express fuel centers will enable us to enhance our convenience offerings and provide additional value to our customers on both the fuel and grocery sides,” said O'Donnell. “These stations will help to round out our overall one-stop shopping experience for customers.” The sale was finalized last Monday, and by Wednesday, one of the stores had already been converted. The other was expected to be converted by last Friday.
