JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie is the latest supermarket chain to make lower-priced generic prescriptions available at its pharmacies.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores is the latest supermarket chain to make lower-priced generic prescriptions available at its pharmacies.
For an annual enrollment fee of $5, customers using its Reward Card can get either a 30-day supply of generic prescriptions for $4 or a 90-day supply for $10. Customers also get a $5 coupon loaded on their Reward Card as well as additional discounts on other generic and brand name medications. A full list of eligible prescriptions is listed on the Winn-Dixie website.

“Not everyone has insurance or health benefits that adequately cover prescriptions,” said John Fegan, vice president of pharmacy for Winn-Dixie, in a statement. “This program makes it easier for our customers to get the prescriptions they need at a great deal so they can focus on their health … not on how much it costs.”
