To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Davidson’s Organics tea will re-brand the company and update it packaging.
Davidson’s offers healthful, organic teas free of GMOs, pesticides and chemicals. The family-owned company, which has three generations of organic tea farming experience, operates nine organic, biodynamic and fair-trade certified tea gardens in India. After growing their tealeaves in India, Davidson’s imports, blends and packages its organic teas in a 30,000-square-foot facility nestled in the Sierra Mountains.
The new packaging’s color effectively highlights the tea’s quality, numerous health benefits and convenience, say company officials. Each of the 11 distinct product categories within the major line has its own graphic, each slightly different, but totally unified with all of the others.
All of Davidson’s teas are well-suited for multiple consumer applications, including upscale and mainstream grocery and health food outlets, gift and gourmet stores, gift packing and food service, officials add.
“Forty years is a huge milestone for any business. But as a small, family-owned and operated tea company, we’re especially proud of our progress,” says Kunall D. Patel, co-owner. “A lot has changed since Davidson’s first started blending spices 40 years ago, but many things remain just the same—our respect for nature, our dedication to quality, our passion for innovation and our gratitude to our customers for their loyalty and enthusiasm.
"And with consumers living a busy lifestyle today, they want simplicity, value, health benefits and convenience all packed into a simple format to make a purchasing decision,"Patel adds. "Our new packaging design meets all these needs, and provides a visual friendly and clean label for information on product benefits, company background, certifications and ingredients.”
