Navitas Naturals revealed that it has earned certification as a B Corporation. Navitas Naturals joins more than 1,800 leading businesses from 130 industries across the world in redefining how success in business is measured.

“Navitas Naturals aims to create a healthier planet through innovation and passion, and by connecting people with opportunities that elicit change - nutritionally, sustainably, and responsibly,” says Navitas Naturals CEO Zach Adelman. “We believe all companies should act with integrity and use their power to positively impact people and the planet.”

Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Together, Certified B Corporations lead a growing, worldwide movement of people using business as a force for good.

“We’re thrilled to have certified Navitas Naturals as B Corporation,” says Jay Coen Gilbert, co-founder of B Lab, the nonprofit that certifies B Corps. “From their certified organic processing facility in Marin County, California, to their support of local farming communities around the world, Navitas Naturals has demonstrated a commitment to socially responsible practices from their inception.”

Navitas Naturals specializes in providing people with certified organic, non-GMO superfoods sustainably sourced from around the world. These superfoods are a diverse whole-food source of antioxidants, protein, essential fatty acids, minerals, vitamins and other key nutrients.

In addition to the health benefits plant-based superfoods provide, Navitas Naturals appreciates how they connect people to the farmers who grow them and to the families that enjoy them. Navitas Naturals chose to apply for B Corp certification with the belief that businesses have a greater responsibility beyond generating profit, and that all businesses should care about people and places, not just shareholders.
