Dierbergs Opens Big Bowl Chinese Express

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Dierbergs Markets here has opened a new Big Bowl Chinese Express location in its West Oak store in Creve Coeur, Mo., according to announcements posted Tuesday on Dierbergs' official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Big Bowl, a popular Chinese and Thai concept developed by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, had previously partnered with Lunds & Byerly's to develop the express locations, which are now in 10 of the company's Minneapolis-area stores. According to the Facebook post, more locations are in the works for Dierbergs as well.

"Big Bowl Chinese Express offers fresh authentic Chinese and Thai food in a quick-service setting modeled after the wildly popular Big Bowl restaurants in Chicago, Minneapolis and the Washington, D.C., area. In St. Louis, find it only at Dierbergs — with more locations to come," it reads.
