Food Lion Promotes Private Label Milk on Web

SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion here is running a promotion on its private label brand milk for its MVP loyalty card holders; when they purchase 6 gallons, they get the seventh free.

Shoppers must use their personal MVP Card to earn and redeem 6 electronic milk credits before receiving a coupon for a free gallon of Food Lion brand milk. Shoppers can check their cash register receipts to track their electronic milk credits. A message at the bottom of the receipt will indicate when they have qualified for a free milk coupon.

To receive the free milk coupon, shoppers will present personal MVP Card and qualifying cash register receipt to a cashier. Electronic milk credits must be redeemed by October 20 this year.
