PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway has paired its private-label meat and beer in an Oktoberfest recipe.

“It’s time to embrace a little German culture and try out our Open Nature Andouille Sausage and Peppers with Double Take Amber Ale,” Safeway writes on its official blog. “So put on your lederhosen and get cooking.”

Ingredients include sausage, peppers, onions … and one bottle of Double Take Ameber Ale. “This recipe is sure to make you want to yodel with delight,” Safeway writes.
