Harris Teeter Taps Perishables Director

been named director of perishables at Harris Teeter here, a new position.

With the company for 16 years, she most recently was director of produce and floral. Her new responsibilities include overseeing meat, seafood, produce and floral. The position represents a realignment of fresh foods positions. Stout's new role takes over the responsibilities of Larry Nivens, who is now director of nonperishables merchandising. He had been director of meat, dairy and frozens.

Stout reports to Joe George, senior vice president of operations and merchandising.

Seafood VP Named By Price Chopper

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Michael Kennally has been named vice president of seafood for Price Chopper Supermarkets here. It is a new post.

Kennally, previously director of seafood merchandising, is responsible for all aspects of sales, management and procurement of fresh and frozen seafood. He reports to John McGraw, vice president of perishables sales and merchandising.
