JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores here said Thursday it has sold its Deep South beverage manufacturing facility to Polar Beverages, Worcester, Mass. — a transaction that marks the completion of the chain's program to sell all non-core manufacturing operations.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores here said Thursday it has sold its Deep South beverage manufacturing facility to Polar Beverages, Worcester, Mass. — a transaction that marks the completion of the chain's program to sell all non-core manufacturing operations.

The company said Polar will continue to operate the facility, located in Fitzgerald, Ga. It also said it has negotiated a five-year agreement with Polar to supply the chain with the Chek brand of carbonated soft drinks.
