TOLLAND, Conn. — Big Y Foods has opened a popcorn shop at its store here.

The store makes fresh popcorn daily. Flavors include Buttered, Kettle, Caramel, Chicago Blend (Caramel and Orange Cheddar) Salt & Vinegar and Watermelon, according to a post on the Big Y Facebook page.

In other news, the Springfield, Mass.-based retailer has introduced its first assortment of bulk spices.

Located in Big Y’s Great Barrington, Mass., store, the spices are part of a new 40-foot bulk section that also includes grains, nuts and pasta, according to a Facebook post.
