EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here said it expects to launch its second unique private-label beer next week — an American-style lager brewed in Wisconsin called Steel Kettle Whistle.

The chain carries one other unique non-Fresh & Easy private-label beer — Taurino, a Latin-style beer brewed in El Salvador that it has stocked since the stores began opening nearly two years ago.

Steel Kettle will be priced at $5.99 for a 12-pack. Fresh & Easy operates 124 stores in Southern California, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
