McCormick Announces New Fall Product Lineup

McCormick & Company is unveiling 40 new products including gourmet flavors inspired by Japanese and Korean cuisines, blends packed with ingredients like chia and matcha, and food color made from plants and seeds.

"Between prepping back-to-school dinners, making cozy stews and gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas baking, fall is a busy time of year in the kitchen," says Virginia Jordan, McCormick Vice President of Marketing. "McCormick is launching a range of purely delicious, quality products people can feel good about -- whether they're making tacos with an organic recipe mix made from natural herbs and spices or adding gingerbread spice to waffle batter on Christmas morning."

Here's an overview of some new product offerings from McCormick for Fall 2016:

Color from Nature Food Colors - this trio of re-sealable starter colors, Sky Blue, Berry and Sunflower, is made with ingredients from nature, such as plants, vegetables and seeds.

Gourmet Spice Blends with Chia, Flax or Matcha - each blend contains 25 to 50 percent chia, matcha or flax. New flavors include: Citrus Chili & Garlic with Chia Seasoning; Cinnamon & Nutmeg with Chia Seasoning; Italian Seasoning with Flaxseed; and Matcha Green Tea with Ginger Seasoning

New Gourmet Asian Flavors include: Japanese Seven Spice (Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning); Korean-Style Red Pepper (Gochugaru); and Thai Basil.

Kitchen Basics Bone Broth: the new bone broth is made from real chicken bones, organic vegetables, herbs and spices. It contains 10 grams of protein per serving and is certified "Heart Healthy" by the American Heart Association.

Kitchen Basics Organic Stocks -  Made with only ingredients that are "Heart Healthy" by the American Heart Association and are gluten-free. Flavors include: Organic Free-Range Chicken Stock; Organic Beef Stock; and Organic Vegetable Stock;

Organics Recipe Mixes include: Organics Taco Seasoning Mix;  Organics Brown Gravy Mix; Organics Chili Seasoning Mix; and Organics Fajita Seasoning Mix. 

Holiday Flavors: "Filling your kitchen with the nostalgic tastes and aromas of the holiday season is easier than ever with new Gingerbread Spice - the perfect mix of ginger, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Take the signature flavor beyond cookies to coffee, oatmeal, pancakes and more.  Also try: Roasted Cinnamon," company officials say. 

Pepper Blends flavors include:  Chipotle Black Pepper Seasoning;  Sriracha Black Pepper Seasoning; Hot Shot Extra Bold Pepper Blend; Smokehouse Black Pepper; and Worcestershire Black Pepper Seasoning. 

Authentic Mexican and Latino Flavors include: Jalapeño Mayonesa; Chipotle Mayonesa; Reduced Fat Mayonesa; Total Seasoning; Carne Asada Seasoning; Adobo Seasoning with Pepper; and Adobo Seasoning without Pepper.
