Spartan Names Pierce to Center Store Post

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spartan Stores here on Friday said it has named Larry Pierce vice president of center store merchandising. Pierce most recently worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises’ Great Lakes division, where he served as vice president of sales for its Meijer team and vice president of supermarket sales. He is a former director of grocery merchandising for Farmer Jack, a former director of procurement for M&B Distributing and a former dairy, frozen and bakery director at Chatham Supermarkets.
