QUINCY, Mass. — The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. has unveiled lower pricing on cookies and crackers. This new pricing is the latest chapter in Stop & Shop’s Value Improvement Program, which has lowered prices over the last year in several other categories, including cereal, baby care items and pet food. “Cookies and crackers are a staple of the brown-bagged school lunch,” said Stop & Shop’s consumer affairs vice president Andrea Astrachan, in a statement. “Now, with our new, lower prices, these lunch mainstays are an even better value for our customers, whether it’s in bulk or in individual snack-sized packages.”
