JUST water, the ethically sourced 100 percent spring water in a paper-based bottle, is now available at Stop & Shop in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey. Stop & Shop is the first to debut the JUST water six-pack. The six-packs will be rolling out to other retailers from now through March 2017.

JUST water was launched in single bottles late 2015. Based on strong uptake by consumers resulting in earlier than anticipated demand for multi-pack purchases, JUST was able to respond quickly by introducing a six-pack. The six-pack contains the same 16.9-ounce JUST water bottles, in a JUST signature light blue recyclable case.

JUST water is 100 percent spring water, responsibly sourced, produced and packaged for improved environmental and social impact. The JUST water bottle is made from 82 percent renewable resources by using plant-based plastic derived from sugarcane and FSC-certified paper. The JUST water bottle creates up to 74 percent less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional PET plastic bottles, say company officials.

JUST’s 100 percent spring water is from the Glens Falls watershed in Upstate New York where water is abundant. An ethical trade revenue partnership with the city of Glens Falls is revitalizing the local community by paying six times the municipal rate for responsible sourcing of less than three percent of its excess water. This appreciable revenue over time helps to upgrade aging water infrastructure, while the business model itself is restoring industry, providing jobs and protecting the watershed.

“We’re thrilled to announce the availability of JUST water and the launch of our new six-packs at Stop & Shop,” says Grace Jeon, JUST CEO. “Stop & Shop represents a major force in grocery retailing in the New England/northeast region, and we are grateful for their leadership and commitment to delivering more sustainable product choices to their shoppers.”

In addition to Stop & Shop, JUST water is available nationally at Whole Foods Market, Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Sprouts, Earth Fare, Hannafords and other fine retailers.
