Show us your store floor: The Grill
Take a look inside
As part of our ongoing "Show us your store floor" series, meet "The Grill," which comes to you via a newly renovated ShopRite in Norwalk, Conn., owned and operated by the Cingari family, who own nine ShopRite and two Grade A Market grocery stores in southwestern Connecticut.
The multi-million dollar renovation includes The Grill — a foodservice at retail station offering fresh off the grill and made-to-order breakfast (bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches) and lunch and dinner options (hamburgers, hot dogs, Philly cheesesteaks, hot pastrami, chicken parmesan, sausage and peppers).
Other new services planned for the Norwalk supermarket include expanded grab-and-go offerings, along with new take-and-bake seafood like salmon, scallops, and crab cakes. The store is also expanding its bread bar and donut selections, both of which are made in store daily. The bakery will also add a full-service cookie and chocolate counter.
The renovation also includes an expanded selection of the Cingari Family ShopRite’s Grade Above line, with ready-to-cook selections in the seafood and meat departments (seasoned/marinated chicken, beef, pork, and seafood offerings), as well as locally-sourced coffee, ShopRite’s own line of spices, natural juices, and fresh baked bread.
