PARSIPPANY, N.J. — AG Supermarket Holdings, parent of the Kings and Balducci’s chains, said Monday that Matt Cozza has been named vice president of real estate and business development.

In this new role, Cozza will oversee the engineering and maintenance team while spearheading the company’s aggressive growth strategy, which focuses on building and acquiring new stores while also enhancing its existing stores.

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Cozza has been involved with opening stores for companies in growth modes including Blockbuster Video, Rite Aid, Family Dollar and Kinney Drugs. Most recently, Cozza held the position of director of new store development with Fairway Markets.
