McCormick Named President of Kansas City Grocers

SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan. — Jon T. McCormick has been named president of the Retail Grocers Association of Greater Kansas City here. He succeeds John Cunningham, who left the association after a couple of years as president.

SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan. — Jon T. McCormick has been named president of the Retail Grocers Association of Greater Kansas City here.

He succeeds John Cunningham, who left the association after a couple of years as president. McCormick was previously vice president of supermarket solutions at Balance Innovations, Overland Park, Kan., which develops technology-based cash management solutions for retail businesses nationwide.

Earlier in his career he was a supermarket operator and subsequently served as executive director of member services at Associated Wholesale Grocers, Kansas City, Kan., and later as president of FMS, a Baltimore-based accounting and payroll software and services provider.
