Stater Bros. Markets on Tuesday said it has hired Michael Reed as senior director of real estate.

Stater Bros. Markets on Tuesday said it has hired Michael Reed as senior director of real estate.

He most recently was real estate store development manager for Starbucks, with responsibility for growing the company’s Midwest and Western Mountain regions. He also has previous experience with a large supermarket company in Southern California, Stater Bros. said.

Stater Bros., based in San Bernadino, Calif., operates 167 supermarkets, with $3.9 billion in annual sales.
