LOS ANGELES — The Western Association of Food Chains here said its board has elected two new members.

The new directors are Ann Reed, vice president, merchandising, for Kroger-owned Fred Meyer Stores, Portland, Ore.; and Mike Servold, vice president, operations, for Kroger-owned Food 4 Less and FoodsCo.

The WAFC seeks to provide continuing education for industry professionals, and also stages an annual conference.
