Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. is looking to sell 68 U.S. Circle K convenience stores, reports Petrol Plaza.

NRC Realty & Capital Advisors will assist with the sale, marking the third time in three years the Chicago firm has worked with Alimentation Couche-Tard to sell Circle K stores.

The stores are located in 21 states and average 2,300 square feet in size. They also come with an average lot size of 23,000 square feet.

More than half (37) are fee owned and 31 are leased. Forty-two of the locations come with fuel pumps while the others are just convenience stores.

The sell off is part of a strategy that includes new construction and acquisitions. Since the beginning of 2023, Alimentation Couche-Tard, headquartered in Laval, Quebec, Canada, has either completed or is constructing over 150 stores, and it also purchased 45 Big Red Stores in Arkansas.

In April, the company acquired 112 stores from MAPCO Express Inc. The sites are located in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky.
