Boyle Appointed VP of Haggen’s Corporate Brands

Washington State’s largest independent, Haggen, has appointed John Boyle its vice president of corporate brands.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Washington State’s largest independent, Haggen, based here, has appointed John Boyle its vice president of corporate brands. He will work with the 32-store retailer’s merchandising and marketing teams to build the corporate brands program, including quality control and sourcing. Boyle has more than 25 years of retail experience, including his role as corporate director of grocery and vice president of merchandising and marketing for a national supermarket company. “We are pleased to have someone with Boyle’s background and experience become part of the Haggen team and look forward to his contribution in building our already strong corporate brand programs,” said Jeff Wood, executive vice president and chief operating officer, in a statement. Boyle will report to Wood.
