Circuit City Names Former A&P VP Harlow as COO

RICHMOND, Va. — Former A&P executive John T. Harlow was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Circuit City Stores, the electronics retailer said Thursday. Harlow, who most recently was a retail director with Deloitte Consulting, previously served as a senior vice president of operations for A&P and a member of its executive committee. At A&P, Harlow was a leader of the operational restructuring that aligned A&P’s various banners under central control.
