Dillon will be honored at the program's annual graduation banquet on April 30.

LOS ANGELES — The Food Industry Management Program at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business here said it will honor David Dillon, chairman and chief executive officer of the Kroger Co., as food industry executive of the year. Dillon will be honored at the program's annual graduation banquet on April 30. The food industry management program presents the award annually to an executive who has shown extraordinary leadership while producing exceptional business results. According to Tom Arnold, program director, "David Dillon has exemplified the managerial traits we inculcate in the food industry management program. He has brought innovation, smarts and, most of all, leadership, to Kroger and to the entire industry."
