SOBEYS NAMES VIMARD CFO AS TERRY RESIGNS
STELLARTON, Nova Scotia — Sobeys here has named Francois Vimard chief financial officer, succeeding Bruce Terry, who resigned to pursue other interests, the company said. Vimard has served Sobeys since 1995 and most recently was executive vice president, supply chain and technology, a position he has held since 2003. Terry had been Sobeys' CFO since 1995. The retailer said Terry's departure was a “personal decision” that followed the acquisition of Sobeys by its lead investor Empire Cos.
LUTTECKE LEAVES WILD OATS FOR UNITED NATURAL
DAYVILLE, Conn. — United Natural Foods here has named Kurt Luttecke president of its Albert's Organics produce-distribution business, succeeding Barclay Hope, who left the position last year. Luttecke most recently had been vice president of meat, seafood and food service at Wild Oats Markets, Boulder, Colo. Philadelphia-based executive search firm Preston-Reffett conducted the search.
