TROY, Mich. — Hollywood Super Markets here has acquired three Farmer Jack locations in the Detroit market, William Welch, president of the company, told SN yesterday. According to local reports, other Farmer Jacks have also been acquired by other customers of Spartan Stores, including Busch’s, Ann Arbor, Mich. Earlier this week, Kroger said it had agreed to acquire 20 of the 66 Farmer Jack locations that A&P is seeking to sell.
