WINN-DIXIE EXPRESSES THE LOVE

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores last weekend promoted their stores as a quick, one-stop shop for Valentine's Day, offering flowers, cards, chocolates, gifts, gift cards and all the ingredients needed for a romantic dinner at home, including wine and champagne. Shoppers purchasing those items had access to a special “Valentine Express Lane” near each store's floral department, from Feb. 12 through Feb. 14. The company's floral departments offered a selection of 30 specialty balloons, as well as five Valentine's Day rose bouquets with a complimentary vase and gift bag, starting at $19.99, and 11 different mixed bouquets ranging from $7 to $70.
