NGA to Host Screening of ‘Bagboy’ Movie

The National Grocers Association said it will host an advance screening of "National Lampoon's Bagboy," a full-length feature movie, on Feb. 6 during its annual convention and supermarket synergy showcase in Las Vegas.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said it will host an advance screening of "National Lampoon's Bagboy," a full-length feature movie, on Feb. 6 during its annual convention and supermarket synergy showcase in Las Vegas. The movie, based on NGA's best bagger competition, stars Dennis Farina, Larry Miller, Brooke Shields, Marika Domynczyk and Paul Campbell, and is scheduled to be released nationwide Feb. 22. It is rated PG-13 for sexual content, language and some drug references. National Lampoon will host the screening, and representatives from the company will be available on the show floor Feb. 6-7 to discuss the movie and promotional opportunities, NGA said.
