NEW YORK — New York City residents can vote for a neighborhood visit from the @PGMobile shopping truck featuring Procter & Gamble products at Wal-Mart prices, by tweeting #PGFashion or #PGChinatown.

The mobile shopping unit, which launched its month-long New York City tour Thursday, distributes free samples and features QR codes for eight products including Gillette Fusion ProGlide razors, Head & Shoulders shampoo and Iams dog food, according to reports. Shoppers can purchase items for home delivery by scanning a corresponding QR code.

The trading partners are reportedly running a similar promotion at bus shelters in Chicago.

“We’re giving out samples and making it easier for you to save time and money. Follow us to see where we’ll be next,” states P&G on the @PGMobile Twitter handle dedicated to the campaign.
