A former Pick’n Save supermarket is scheduled to reopen under a new banner and with a new wholesaler.

PORTAGE, Wis. — A former Pick’n Save supermarket here is scheduled to reopen today under a new banner and with a new wholesaler. The store, which will fly the Pierce’s Marketplace banner, was purchased last month from Roundy’s by Pierce’s Supermarkets, Baraboo, Wis., according to Jeff Maurer, president of Pierce’s. The re-bannering, also taking place at a Pierce’s Pick’n Save location in Baraboo, is part of Pierce’s switch to Affiliated Foods Midwest, Norfolk, Neb., as its primary supplier, Maurer explained.
