Save-A-Lot VP Wagner Leaving Company
ST. LOUIS — Andrea Wagner, vice president of marketing for Save-A-Lot here, will be leaving the company at the end of the month to pursue other career opportunities, a company spokeswoman confirmed to SN Tuesday.
ST. LOUIS — Andrea Wagner, vice president of marketing for Supervalu's Save-A-Lot division here, will be leaving the company at the end of the month to pursue other career opportunities, a company spokeswoman confirmed to SN Tuesday.
Wagner, a former private-brand manager at Kroger and H. E. Butt Grocery, joined Save-A-Lot in 2008. Her duties included developing strategies for private brands and for connecting with Hispanic consumers. She formerly served as Save-A-Lot’s vice president of meat, seafood and produce.

The company has not yet named a successor to Wagner, the spokeswoman, Chon Tomlin, said.
Wagner is the second high-profile Save-A-Lot executive to leave the company this summer. Tom Lenkevich, chief operating officer, also recently resigned.
