Schnuck Markets Inc. is partnering with Every True Tiger Brands, a full-service NIL marketing agency that specializes in the design and execution of collegiate student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities.

Schnucks said in a release that the program will feature the University of Missouri (Mizzou) athletes from various sports on a variety of products. Those college athletes will also be compensated.

Schnucks Category Manager Scott Wilmoth said the program gives the grocer’s customers and Mizzou fans the opportunity to support the school’s athletic program.

To start off the launch, Schnucks is introducing “Pizza With the Mizzou Crew” frozen pizza products featuring Tigers defensive players Ty’Ron Hopper, Ennis Rakestraw Jr., and Kris

Abrams-Draine.

Every two months, the grocer will introduce a new frozen pizza variety that will feature different in-season athletes. The frozen pizzas will be available in all Missouri Schnucks locations as well as metropolitan St. Louis stores in Illinois.

The partnership's intent is to help student-athletes build and learn how to grow their personal brands, while also promoting Mizzou.

Other potential items to emerge from the collaboration include:

  • Ice cream

  • Candy

  • Snacks

  • Coffee

  • Cookies
