PHOENIX — Natural-food retailer Sprouts Farmers Market here is expanding its presence in Whole Foods’ hometown.
Sprouts on Monday said it will debut its third Austin, Texas-area location in Rollingwood, Texas, later this week and plans to open a fourth Austin-area store in Great Hills, Texas in January.
“Since Austin has been the pulse of the natural foods movement for nearly three decades, growing new Sprouts stores in the Austin area is a top priority,” the company said in a statement.
The 27,800-square-foot Rollingwood store is scheduled to open Friday. Events include a giant pumpkin pie, giveaways including reusable bags and a free concert.
