United Natural to Open New California DC

DAYVILLE, Conn. — United Natural Foods Inc. here said it has signed to lease a newly built distribution center in Moreno Valley, Calif. The 613,200-square-foot facility would be the largest warehouse in UNFI’s Western region and would serve customers in Southern California, Arizona, southern Nevada, southern Utah and Hawaii beginning this summer. United said recently that it was also looking for new distribution facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region and in Texas.
