WASHINGTON — Two leaders of the union-funded activist group Wake Up Wal-Mart are reportedly leaving to join John Edwards’ presidential campaign. Chris Kofinis, the public relations director of Wake Up Wal-Mart, told SN Friday he was vacationing and would not comment until today. Several reports said Friday that Kofinis, along with Paul Blank, Wake Up Wal-Mart’s campaign director, would fill senior posts on the Edwards staff. Kofinis previously was communications director for presidential hopeful Wesley Clark in 2004. Blank worked for Howard Dean’s campaign in 2004.
