Whole Foods Lip Balm Promotes Green Thinking

NEW YORK — Whole Foods Markets has introduced a line of five lip balms in partnership with beauty care manufacturer Kiss My Face. The line, called Lip Action, retails for $3.49 each, with a donation of $1 for each stick sold going to Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection. Flavors of the line include Mango Melt, Eco-Cocoa and Solar Citrus, among others. Kiss My Face has pledged up to $1 million from the sales of the lip balms to help Gore’s organization fight global warming. The products officially went on sale yesterday exclusively in Whole Foods stores.
