ARLINGTON, Va. — Food Marketing Institute on Tuesday said Jill Hollingsworth, senior vice president of food safety programs, is retiring.

"Under Jill's 15 years of leadership, the Food Marketing Institute has developed a complete spectrum of food safety resources for retailers and wholesalers, including the Safe Quality Food Institute and SafeMark training programs," said FMI President and Chief Executive Officer Leslie G. Sarasin, in a prepared statement. "She will be greatly missed, but we wish her a wonderful retirement."

Last week FMI said it had named Hilary S. Thesmar vice president of food safety programs, starting in mid-June.
